RIFLE. Cal. 425. Exp. S# 98203. Bbl. 19 3/4". Hannibal Deluxe bolt action rifle chambered in .425 Express mfg. from a British P14 military rifle action by A-Square. The left side of the bbl. is marked ".425 EXPRESS", with "A-SQUARE/ MADE IN USA" marked on the right. Metal components exhibit a dull gray finish overall, save for on the bolt body, which is polished in-the-white. Custom 1-piece wood brown epoxy bedded pistol grip stock, featuring checkered panels on the forearm and pistol grip, as well as a black rubber Decelerator recoil pad. Ramped and hooded blade front sight. Rear sight is absent, but plug screws are present. Receiver is drilled and tapped, currently fitted with a 1-piece steel scope mount base. Custom heavy bbl. features an integral sling swivel band, a flat lug (stock inletted for lug) and a threaded muzzle (with threaded muzzle cover). Receiver features a Timney trigger, with an integral mag. housing. Bolt knob features a flat checkered panel on the underside. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 1995 dated A-Square sales pamphlet. CONDITION: fine, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original A-Square applied finish, exhibiting some light superficial handling marks, as well as some scattered spots of light surface oxidation overall. Bolt body retains a bright appearance, exhibiting some small scattered spots of light pitting and age related discoloration. Brilliant mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Stock shows some scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise presents nicely.
